Michelle has been practicing Reformer Pilates for 10+ years!! Her love for Pilates and longing to share its beauty with other women is what inspired her to become an instructor herself. Michelle loves connecting with each and every person in her classes. If you’ve taken one of her classes before, you know they’re fun, challenging, and unique! Each class has its own personality!
When Michelle isn’t pulsing it out, she likes to play the piano and sing - she’s actually trained for both in a classical aspect and has competed for many years in each!! (A woman of many talents!)
Sonia has been a fitness instructor for five years and also taught dance for twenty-five years.
Her passion for fitness started when she fell in love with the group x community. She loved the energy of the instructors, the atmosphere they created and how she felt after class, so she jumped at the opportunity to become an instructor and the rest is history!
Sonia loves being a part of the fitness journey. Motivating others to reach their fitness goals and watching their strength and confidence grow.
When Sonia isn’t teaching amazing classes or perfecting her own practice, you can probably find her salsa dancing with her husband. Fun fact: that’s actually how they met! Sonia’s fitness advice: Everyone’s fitness journey is unique, set goals tailored for your abilities and celebrate every milestone, no matter how small.
Cami has been a member of Pulse Pilates since we opened our doors last summer and recently decided to expand her Pilates journey and share her love for it by teaching others! Cami also manages all the social media for Pulse so be aware of her snapping some action shots of you getting your sweat on!
Her favorite part about being an instructor so far is watching women build their confidence, see their own potential, and show up for themselves!
Cami’s fitness advice: You are more capable than you think! Everyone starts at the beginning and always has room to grow. Showing up for yourself is the first step - just start!
Mariah has been a fitness instructor for 3 years! She developed a passion for movement and how it allowed her to grow both physically and mentally. As an instructor, she loves helping other work towards that same growth and confidence. Mariah’s favorite part of being an instructor is meeting new people, seeing their progress, and having fun while being surrounded by a great community. Before Mariah was killing it at the barre here in NC, she was living in Iowa, where she grew up!
As a former college cheerleader and avid tennis player, fitness has always been a big part of Charlotte’s life. After graduating college and no longer having structured workouts, she discovered Pilates at Pulse and instantly fell in love. By day, she works in the food and agriculture tech space, but Pilates has become her sanctuary—a way to unwind after busy days and focus on herself.
A little fun fact about her? She’s a proud GA peach, originally from a small town in Georgia, but now she loves life in North Carolina with her husband and their golden retriever, Cooper. When she’s not working or at the studio, you can probably find her outdoors, enjoying the sunshine on a boat with her family.
Charlotte’s fitness advice: “Focus only on yourself during class. It’s not about how high your leg goes or how strong your springs are—it’s about showing up for yourself, and the results will follow”
Holly has been practicing reformer Pilates for 20+ years and looks forward to every class where she get to share her own love of Pilates with the ladies at Pulse.
3 years ago after losing her beloved husband, Holly moved 450 miles south in search of warmer weather, sandy beaches, and new opportunities. She is now finding all of those, and herself again and is so grateful for Pulse and all the terrific women who are helping to lead the way.
Holly’s fitness advice: We are all blessed with just one amazing body. If we’re lucky, we will live long and healthy lives: Pilates can be a life long practice to help insure that. Take care of our bodies, and they will take care of us!
Bri joined Pulse earlier this year and has had a goal to become a fitness instructor for years once she realized she’d love to help other women meet their fitness goals - Now was the perfect time!
Bri fell in love with fitness after having her 1st baby and used it as a way to learn to love her body again postpartum. She is now determined to share that love with other women!
She loves watching our pulse girls come back each week stronger and pushing themselves more each class!
When Bri isn’t at the studio, she is mostly likely spending time with her 2 littles! Fun fact: she is 3 months postpartum with her 2nd baby! So, if you see her pulsing it out with a baby strapped in a carrier, don’t be alarmed!
Bri’s fitness advice: Everyone has to start somewhere! Just do it, you won’t regret it
Tianna has always been passionate about fitness. Her passion comes from 20 years of competitive cheerleading and dancing and obtaining a degree in Kinesiology. Additionally, she has been a cheer instructor for the last 12 years!
While no longer being an athlete, discovering Pulse helped Tianna find structure again of incorporating fitness back into her life in a new and fun way. After taking a variety of classes she thought the experience she received from this community would be amazing to share with others!
Tianna has always loved the excitement of helping kids accomplish a new skill so she is excited to help women grow and achieve new goals both mentally and physically.
When Tianna isn’t instructing or taking a class at Pulse, she is most likely taking care of dogs and fostering in her free time which has resulted in foster fails. She has a total of 9 dogs! 4 are here in NC and other 5 reside in Texas, where she is originally from!

Everything you want is on the other side of fear! Get started and keep going because you deserve to see your hard work pay off.
