Pilates is a valuable tool that can support every stage of pregnancy to birth, and through the postpartum period.
The classical approach to Pilates has been shown to lower rates of cesarean birth, birth interventions, and episiotomies, as well as help manage or eliminate the typical aches and pains associated with pregnancy.
Pulse Pilates encourages women who are pregnant to participate in our group classes for community and encouragement. Our focus during your pregnancy is on preparing your body for a safe delivery, and minimizing current discomfort. Our Instructors knowledgeably modify moves to accommodate your needs as an expectant mother through each trimester. As your body changes, so do the modifications and adjustments to the moves to ensure a continued and safe Pilates practice.
